Chicken & Swiss Cheese Sandwich w/ Giardiniera

This chicken sandwich packs a punch of flavor and crunch. Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese (or any cheese!)
  • 4 slices crusty bread (sourdough or Italian)
  • Butter, for toasting bread
  • Ronnie’s Giardiniera (to taste)

Instructions

1. Season chicken on both sides with salt & pepper.
2. Sear in hot skillet (med-high) with a little oil until golden, 4–5 min per side.
3. Top with Swiss cheese and cover skillet until melted.
4. Toast bread in the skillet with butter until golden.
5. Assemble sandwich: bread → cheesy chicken → Ronnie’s Giardiniera → top slice of bread.
6. Slice and serve hot
