
Havarti & Peaches Grilled Cheese with Ronnie's Giardiniera
Mild, creamy Havarti melts into golden, buttery bread, cradling slices of juicy, ripe peaches that bring a soft sweetness to every bite. Just when you think it’s too delicate to be bold, Ronnie’s Giardiniera® crashes the party — crunchy, tangy, and laced with heat — cutting through the richness and balancing the fruit with a flash of fire and vinegar bite. Sweet. Spicy. Savory. Surprising. It’s the grilled cheese you didn’t know you were missing — until now.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of sourdough or brioche, buttered up
- 2–3 slices Havarti
- Grilled fresh peach slices (YES, fruit in grilled cheese—trust)
- 1–2 tbsp Ronnie’s Giardiniera (drain the juice, keep the vibes)
- Handful of arugula
- Optional: Hot honey or balsamic drizzle to level up
- Butter for the skillet
Instructions
1. Grill the peaches in your cast-iron skillet with a lil’ oil ‘til they’re caramelized and giving golden hour.
2. Build the bite: Stack your Havarti, grilled peaches, giardiniera, and arugula between the bread. Butter goes on the outside.
3. Toast it low and slow in butter until both sides are crispy and that cheese is living its best melted life (3–4 min per side).
4. Slice on the diagonal (it’s the law). Drizzle with hot honey or balsamic if you’re fancy. Serve with extra giardiniera on the side because we love a spicy encore.
