Ingredients

The Bread:

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 Tbsp active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 4 Tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ~6 cups all-purpose flour

The Swirl:

  • 1 cup Ronnie's Giardiniera, drained well and chopped fine
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or provolone
  • Optional: sprinkle of red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

1. Mix and knead dough. Let rise until doubled.
2. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread giardiniera + cheese evenly.
3. Roll up jelly-roll style, pinch seam, place in loaf pan.
4. Let rise a second time, then bake at 375°F for 30–35 minutes until golden.
